Implemental LLC (“Implemental Health,” “we”) runs implementalhealth.com. This notice says what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is short because the list is short.

What we collect

From members, at sign-up:

• Your email address. This is the only thing we require.
• Anything else you choose to tell us — your name, or other details you volunteer in an optional field. Optional means optional; leaving them blank costs you nothing.

From everyone, automatically:

• Basic analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, which does not record full IP addresses, and Jetpack Stats, which is built into our hosting. Both tell us which pages people read and where they get stuck. We do not use Google’s advertising or cross-device identity features.
• Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, WordPress.com (Automattic), as part of running the site.

What we do not collect

We want to be specific about this, because it is unusual and it is the point.

• We do not collect your health profile. The profile you build with the brain-health coach — your habits, your answers, your risk walk-through — is saved by your own browser, on your own device, and is never transmitted to us. We cannot see it. The trade-off is real: if you clear your browser, or open the site on a different device, that profile starts over. We would rather tell you that up front than let you discover it after an hour’s work.
• We do not collect your brain images or your radiology report. If you order a specialist read, you upload your scan directly to MDview’s secure portal. MDview is the reading facility and holds the clinical record — the images, the report, and the physician’s interpretation — under its own privacy practices. If you load an MRI file into our viewer, it is rendered on your device and goes nowhere else.
• We do not collect payment card details. Any paid upgrade is handled by the provider taking the payment, not by us.

Why we use what we collect

That is the whole list of purposes. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

• Nobody who pays us for it. We do not sell your personal information, and we have not sold or shared it in the preceding twelve months. We do not disclose it to insurers or employers — not now, and not as a paid feature later.
• Service providers who make the site run, and only for that purpose: WordPress.com (Automattic) for hosting, the member account, the mailing list and Jetpack Stats; Google Analytics for the analytics described above.
• If the law requires it — a valid subpoena, court order, or legal obligation.

How long we keep it

Your email address and any optional details stay until you ask us to delete them, or until you end your membership. Analytics data follows Google Analytics’ and Jetpack’s own retention settings.

Your rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to have it deleted, and not to be discriminated against for asking. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of — but you may still ask us to confirm that.

You can unsubscribe from the research letter using the link at the bottom of any letter, without ending your membership.

Children

The site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, write to privacy@implementalhealth.com and we will delete it.

Changes

If we start collecting something new — in particular, if we ever begin storing the health profile on our servers instead of on your device — we will say so here and tell members by email before it takes effect. We will not make that change quietly.
